Polyvinyl Siloxane PVS Light Body is an elastomeric rubber-like dental impression material made from an addition silicone polymer that is supplied as two pastes base+catalyst. When mixed, it undergoes a chemical addition polymerization to form a flexible silicone rubber that exactly copies the shape of oral structures before it sets. Its very low viscosity “light body” allows it to flow into tiny spaces around prepared teeth and capture fine surface detail with high precision.
